The knife was certainly produced after 1943 being marked "RB Nr. 0/0561/0019" that is one of the two certainly original numbers found on these knives up to now (the other is 0020). The knife can be completely disassembled by pressing the square button and removing the cap. The number "5" is engraved on one side of the knot-loosening awl, as in most cases and represents the "Luftamt 5" that is the "Waffenamt" of the Luftwaffe (official brand of the Luftwaffe) while on the other side the code. "RB Nr. 0/0561/0019" The knife can be completely disassembled for cleaning. Just press the square button under the hood and then remove the hood. The handle at this point opens like a compass showing the blade that can be removed and cleaned. As in all originals, the knot pick has a recess to facilitate its extraction, as proof of its originality.
